LM_NET: My English staff is beginning to develop a course (required for juniors)they're calling "media literacy." Their intent is to hip the students to media manipulation. Of course they have no $$ for textbooks, but think they can get by without, and they probably can. I am gathering materials for them (_Culture Jam: The Uncooling of America_ and _Manufacturing Consent_ etc.) but would be interested in your input on this topic. If any of your schools have a similar class would you mind sharing your experience?
