[LM_NET] YALSA offers fall online courses

Greetings!

 

Registration is now open for three online courses from YALSA this fall:
"Making the Match: The Right Book with the Right Teen at the Right Time"
(Teri Lesesne); "New Technologies and New Literacies for Teens" (Linda
Braun), and "Pain in the Brain" (Beth Gallaway). 

"Making the Match" and "New Technologies and New Literacies for Teens"
meet for six weeks; "Pain the Brain" meets for four weeks. Courses begin
Oct. 6. To read course descriptions and register, visit
www.ala.org/yalsa and click "Online Courses."

YALSA's six-week courses cost $149 for YALSA members, $195 for ALA
members and $215 for nonmembers. Four-week courses cost $135 for YALSA
members, $175 for ALA members and $195 for nonmembers. 

Discounts are available for groups of ten or more, and all YALSA
e-courses are available for licensing; contact Beth Yoke at
