[LM_NET] YALSA's on the road

YALSA is attending the International Federation of Library Association's
(IFLA) conference in Quebec Aug. 10 - 14 as well as the REFORMA
conference Sept. 18-21 in El Paso.   

 

Registration is still open for the REFORMA conference!  This year's
theme is "Bridging the Gaps: Juntos @ the Border."  Be sure to attend
the program "Reaching Spanish Speaking Teens through Alternative Media."
YALSA members Osei Baffour, Jennifer Velasquez and Beth Yoke will be the
presenters.  Please stop by the ALA exhibit booth at REFORMA and get
your free YALSA swag and handouts.  Also be sure to drop your business
card in the basket to enter yourself in a drawing to win a free seat in
a YALSA e-course (a $135 value).  YALSA's Executive Director, Beth Yoke,
will also be there to answer any questions you may have about YALSA.
