Hi All, I hope everyone's summer has been relaxing and productive. I know it has gone way too fast! I've had a teacher request video clips of two seperate items, one, (which I know Unitedstreaming has but we don't have and can't use), clips from film adaptations of the following novels: To Kill a Mockingbird, A Separate Peace, A Raisin in the Sun, Great Expectations, Of Mice and Men, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, and the Illustrated Man. We have the VHS or DVD versions but she was looking for video clips that are online. Secondly, (and this is tougher), she wanted video clips of people using specific "Words of the Day" properly. I suggested having the kids create these themselves but she would ned to model some for them. I've already emailed her the SLJ article "Animate Learning with Digital Video" but was hoping someone out there may have some more recent info. Thanks again for all your help and enjoy your remaining summer days.
