As part of the unit on gifts and giving, I would like the kids to examine what is meant by "Tis better to give than receive" . I thought it might have been from Shakespeare but my research seems to point to it being "one of the most famous verses in the Christian New Testament". If this is the case, could someone please give me the chapter and verse reference for that too. I have received what I need to know about the reference for the Three Wise Men, thank you. Clearly, I should have paid more attention in Sunday School, but that was 50-something years ago.
