Everyone, Our tech department has enforced the Microsoft security measure on district computers that lock the computers after 20 min of inactivity. Problem comes with the computer that we us in the library for OPAC, we have a general log in which allows students to us the OPAC without logging in using their individual log in and password. Problem comes during slow times that we are forced to jump up every twenty minutes to unlock or at least move the mouse. We have tried a power point on a continuous loop - they still lock. Any ideas on how to prevent the computers from going into a security lock down would be appreciated. We have talked to the ID department - but 20 minutes is it. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks, Curtis L.
