Good morning:
Don't know if someone can lead me to a source for
this information, but I told the student I would try.
We just had our Battle of the Books a few weeks
ago and now one of the students is doing a write up about
it for the school newspaper. She wanted to know how many
countries in the world actually do BOB contests. I can
find information about it in the U.S., but haven't been
able to find anything that will tell me about the world
wide Battles.
If someone can point me to a cite that would
possibly tell me, or if you are an overseas librarian who
has done BOB at your school would you please contact me
offlist?
Also--if anyone has suggestions of books that you
used this year that the kids loved, please send me your
lists. I need to order them soon for next year's contest.
I would need books for grade 4-8 and keep in mind we are a
Christian school.

Thanks!
