A student is requesting a book but doesn't remember the title or author. It is about a brother and sister who are left home on an island while the dad is off working. They accidentally burn out the communication radio by hooking up a game device to it, then they snaek into town to try to get a part for the radio. Adventure ensues. Sound familiar?
