Today's world demands the most from its information professionals – a range
of principles and skills that will allow individuals at all levels to excel
in the field. The skills to effectively navigate a diverse workplace are
invaluable for executives and staff alike.

For this reason the SLA-NY chapter is bringing to you:

Join us in this interactive seminar designed to help attendees deal with
diversity in their work environment. It concentrates on exploring how
managerial leadership can infuse and advance diversity within that
environment and within the profession. Engaging participants in appropriate
exercises, Camila will cover topics such as leading by example; defining the
various types of diversity; empowering staff to embrace diversity; working
towards diverse staff success; employing problem-solving and innovating
thinking to infuse diversity. She will also share her thoughts on cultural
competencies.

Non-members: $10.00 fee at the door (payable by check, made out to SLA NY
