This message sent off warning bells to me. I am not against such a survey BUT if it were truly an ALA survey wouldn't the message have come from an ALA address? The web site is not an ALA address either. The signature also isn't complete, we have no idea if this person is from ALA or not. I would like much more information before taking this survey. Deborah Stafford Wiesbaden High School Wiesbaden Germany deborah.stafford@t-online.de The message Subject: ALA Privacy Survey Hello, The ALA Office for Intellectual Freedom has been awarded a grant that will allow them to examine numerous aspects of privacy. One of the first steps is a survey for librarians. Please take 5 minutes to complete the survey: _www.privacyrevolution.org_ (http://www.privacyrevolution.org) Carrie -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
