[LM_NET] computer technology listserve

Does anyone know of a computer / technology list serve similar to the one we
have for librarians?

I am looking for new textbooks for our high school computer department?  Any
ideas or contacts?  We will be teaching all the Microsoft applications and
are looking for interesting projects that can be used to assess our
students.  Does anyone know of a book that does that?
