[LM_NET] Basic skills test for technology

Hello,
Do any of you have a test for basic technology skills for middle school
students? A friend of mine is taking a middle school technology
coordinator's position and will be teaching a 7th grade technology class.
She wants to assess her students' knowledge level at the beginning of the
class. If you have one or can point me to a link, I would appreciate it.
