This post reminded of a great resource the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond offers. They have historical figures bookmarks free for educators. The link is: http://www.richmondfed.org/publications/educator_resources/historical_figure s_bookmarks/index.cfm The site says they are not taking orders at this time due to unfilled orders. Hopefully they will be taking them again soon. There are also worksheets and activities to go along and other publications as well. I ordered several hundred bookmarks last year for my K-2 library and didn't even have to pay shipping. The kids loved them as well. They enjoyed finding info about money.
