Do any of you have a contract with the library that you have your students and parents sign at the beginning of the school year? We have one for our Kindergarten students, but I would like all students (Kindergarten - 5th grade) to sign a contract with the library this year. I want them to understand the responsibilities they have when they check-out books. I'm trying to help them understand that they need to be responsible for the library books they check out - don't lose them and don't damage them. I also want parents to understand their responsibilities when it comes to their child's library books. Maybe we won't have so many lost or damaged and unreturned books...I hope. If you have one, would you please send me a copy?
