Dear Wise Librarians, I'm preparing a summer reading list for my graduating 8th graders. What are your suggestions? Classics not to miss, great new books, perenniel favorites, etc.? I'd like the list to be geared toward teens, and I already have books on the list that I feel are a bit too old for my K-8 library - but I do want to stay away from anything that would have a major moral issue - sex, etc. Thanks for your help! I'll post a hit and a link to my website once my entire list K4 - 8th grade is complete next week. I need to get the 8th grade list done by Wednesday.
