Gee, it must be "research time!" I had a teacher ask me the very same question today...and I politely told her that we didn't own a print copy of the Reader's Guide (and haven't owned one since 1990). I know that the Reader's Guide is available in print and online through H.W. Wilson, but I tried to explain to this teacher that with the online databases we don't generally use these anymore. ( I did explain that for those colleges and universities that hold print journals that aren't in databases, that then the Reader's Guide is a valuable tool ---but it's usually online.) If anyone is interested in purchasing, it's here.... http://www.hwwilson.com/Databases/Readersg.htm and you can get a free trial. ~Shonda -- Shonda Brisco, BA Ed., MLIS Library Media / Technology Specialist Weatherford, TX 76086 Digital Bookends wiki / blog: http://digitalbookends.pbwiki.com http://shonda.edublogs.org/ sbrisco@gmail.com Resources for Texas School Librarians: http://txschoollibrarians.ning.com/ http://txschoollibrarians.wikispaces.com/ "Digital Resources" columnist School Library Journal -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
