[LM_NET] OT: Dance Marathon Fundraiser

Hello,

I am an advisor for a high school arts organization, and I am  
interested in holding a fundraiser.  I need to raise around $2,000.   
I am thinking of doing a dance marathon.  I am leaning toward 18--24  
hours over one of our long weekends.  Has anyone done one of these in  
a high school setting?  I would be very interested in any tips or  
suggestions for any part of the process from planning to execution,  
and even collecting pledges following the event.
