Until you have time to assess and weed the collection, consider displays. $2,000.00
doesn't buy that many books.Do you have any low shelves where you could place
displays? If not, you could use tables. If you need titles of books, just let this
list know and you will get more than enough suggestions. There are so many
wonderful new books. Be sure you have the newest in the series books. Middle school
students love series.

Subject: [LM_NET] Tar: your opinion

Good Morning,

I just started a new job this past Monday. The library has very limited shelf
space, almost no space. The principal wants me to spend $2000 on more books. She
wants it spent immediately. My problem is I don't know where to shelve $2000 worth
of books in here, and I haven't had time to really assess the library's needs. The
money can only be spent on books. Any suggestions?

  Thanks.
