Attention Librarians in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan,
  Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin:

For those who are serving blind or visually impaired students in your libraries,
please be sure to share this information with
your students (or their teachers). It's a great way to place a couple
of braille book in the hands of student over the summer (and allow
them to build their own personal libraries.) This is a great company
that I always used for current books in braille for my students in
grades pre-K through 8th grade.

Seedlings Braille Books for Children Announces
"Keep Kids in Touch" 2008

To our friends in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan,
  Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin,

The "Keep Kids in Touch" Program was designed by Seedlings Braille
Books for Children to help keep kids "in touch" with books and reading
during the summer. Thanks to some very generous donations, we are able
to offer two free braille books to every blind child in the states
listed above. (Please only register children who are residents of
these 7 states.) Pre-readers are also eligible to receive two
Print-and-Braille books to enjoy during the summer with their
families.

Paper registration forms were mailed out XXXXX, but why wait? You can
register your child or student(s) online right now! Just go to:
www.seedlings.org and click on "Special Projects" and then on "Keep
Kids in Touch". Check out the other Special Projects while you are
there!

Since the books will be mailed sometime between May and July, we need
to use home addresses for the children. Please be assured that all
information is kept strictly confidential. Seedlings does not sell,
rent, or give its mailing lists to anyone.

The registration deadline is May 1, 2008, but avoid the rush ... register now!

Best wishes and happy reading,
Debra J. Bonde, Director
