Dear LM Netters, I have a teacher looking for the title of a book she remembers reading as a child in the 1960s. Here are the details she remembers: There are a bunch of children of different heritages celebrating the 4th or July. During the celebration all of their different cultures are represented (ie a bagpiper for the Scottish kid). However there is a little Chinese girl who is sad because her culture isn't represented...but then, fireworks begin and she is thrilled that her heritage is represented. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Title? Author? As always thank you for any help you can provide. Sincerely, Brenna McLaughlin School Library Media Specialist Robertsville Elementary bmclaughlin@marlboro.k12.nj.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
