[LM_NET] Dictionary and encyclopedia lessons

Oh Wise Ones,
        I am looking for some good lessons on the dictionary or the  
encyclopedia for third grade level.  We are discovering that our  
students don't know how to use the book version, after too much  
reliance on spell check and on-line sources.  Does anybody have  
anything creative?  Thanks in advance.
