I agree about WebPath Express with one comment. If you give a "guest", meaning a
patron who has not logged in, rights to search WebPath they can. We enable all
patrons, whether they are logged in or not, to use WebPath--after all, we are
paying for it and want it used.
I try to send students to WebPath BEFORE they try using Google. I would say 98
percent of the sites are non-commercial and/or have pop-up ads. At a high school
level, the sites have been very good and save the students quite a bit of time in
researching topics. It's like finding the materials the library has AND a
selection of relevant websites.
