Within the past 60 days I read a review of a book about baseball players/legends/noteworthy players in the past. I thought the title was something similar to "We would have played for free." It was about men who loved playing so much they would not have asked for a salary, just to get to play. Apparently that is not the title, as I can't find it on amazon.com...I tried some subject searches etc. with no luck. I'd like to purchase it by the 8th for an anniversary gift. ...can anyone help?
