If possible, PLEASE let your tech dept know about the importance of web
2.0! I have been stymied so many times for projects that use web 2.0
that I know have to do late at night at home and production has come to
a crawl. Schools that don't open portals for blogs,
creativecommons.org, and other viable shared communications and
resources are depriving not only teachers, but students as well.
Just a thought...

Good morning all!

As the librarian at my middle school I am on the technology committee.
We are working on our 3 year plan to bring us somewhat up to speed on
our campus technology. I'm curious as to what you all find are your
"best practices" when it comes to technology that is available to your
educators and students. What do you feel are "must haves"? How many,
if any, laptops do you have at your school? Any and all replies will
be
most helpful.

Thank you,

Sonja Schulz,

Librarian
