Wow - now I know I really belong. I get some strange comments about my desk. Right now I have a sand and water toy (2 sheets of glass with water and sand, and when you upend it it makes a different scene). I have a tornado in a jar, a wind-up toy from the Bee Movie, a bunch of rubber duckies, a pendulum clock, a feather wig, a giant Fred Flintstone necktie, some 5 1/4 " floppy disks, a lava lamp, pink desk lamp. I also have a stuffed animal we call Mr. Quackers, who is purple and emits a sound when hugged. Kids who would never talk to me come over to see what I have, and we can strike up a conversation. It's a great ice-breaker!
