I have a 6th grade teacher in need of help. She is starting to plan for next year where she will be teaching social studies (world history) for the first time. She would like to teach the class almost entirely through novels. Thus, I have two questions. First what titles would you recommend and what historical period do they address? Second do you know anyone who teaches social studies this way who might be willing to share ideas or suggestions through email? Thanks for your suggestions and help, Mitch Lawson Teacher Librarian Northeastern Elementary School Fountain City, IN 47341 mlawson@nws.k12.in.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
