Hi Friends,

I hear the bad news every day that LMS positions are being threatened
or lost in districts across the country. I'd like to do an informal
survey to understand how this is unfolding.

In my former district, we're down to 2 LMS for 10 elementary schools,
but I believe that every school still has a literacy/reading
coach. If this is true in other districts, I'd say that our worst
nightmare is coming true and we are simply losing ground to what our
federal government and many local districts have now determined is
the most important instructional support role in the school.

What are the numbers like in your district? I'll post a HIT.

Best,
Toni
