[LM_NET] Taget: Gen: AASL standards NOT in PDF format needed

I need to start "trying out" the new standards. I would like to
copy/paste the new standards into some upcoming lesson plans.  Alas -
anything I find online is in PDF format.  So.....
 
1. Do you know where I can find a copy online in another format that
can be copy/pasted?
 
2.  Do you know of a free program that can be used to convert PDF to an
editable format?
 
Any ideas will be gratefully accepted.  Thanks!!
