Something cute that one of my teachers did was based on Flat Stanley. She bought
plastic folders that look like a suit case (small bag) when folded. These are
similar to what public libraries house some of their av materials in. At any rate,
then she made paper dolls and took a photo of each child and then laminated them.
They had a letter with a list of activities they were to complete when
traveling--where they went, what they saw, etc. during Spring Break. This could
easily be incorporated into your project.
