I was told today by my superintendent to put together a $5000 or so wish list of books I want. We just did a major weeding operation and the empty shelves are doing their job of showing people how few books we really have! Hooray! I've told him my first goal of re-stock is the high school/middle school fiction section, since that's been the most neglected of all over the years. I have some YA fiction, but very little that is of any interest to my 9-12 grade kids. I have the Twilight series and most classics, but otherwise we're bare. What would you put on that list? $5000 is hardly enough to stock an entire section, but it's enough to get a head start. What do you suggest? Thanks!
