Hello all,

Me ... yet again.

What professional books on teaching, education, and/or librarianship would you
recommend?

I am thinking along the lines of:
Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson
The World is Flat by Friedman
School of Dreams by Hume
The Gatekeepers by Steinberg
Wikinomics by Tapscott and Williams
Stuff by Jonathan Kozol

You get the picture ... What other stuff might you recommend? I'll post a hit.

Thanks,

dave

Subject: Re: [LM_NET] TARGET: Use of term book trailer

Debbi has sent me this site ... http://digitalbooktalk.com/ and it seems even the
phrase "digital
booktalk" is now trademarked! I hope no one has already snaffled my name of "Book
Bait" in this
context and I end up in trouble. I can't see that it has been used, so if you like
it and don't
want to be at risk of using a trademarked phrase, then as far as I am concerned,
help yourself!
