I am looking for a picture book that shows students how to write using descriptive language. I have a 10th-grade English teacher who would like to use this book with her class to highlight how using a variety of words can make a story "pop". She wants anything that shows students how using different adjectives and adverbs can make stories better. Do you know of any children's books that might work in this context? I am a high school librarian who knows nothing about picture books! Thanks for your help!
