Excuse the cross-posting

I have a 6th grade teacher hoping to add a non-fiction book to his
curriculum for next year. Since we are in Florida, he thinks it would
be great if it had to do with Florida in some way...the closer the
proximity the better.

I have identified The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings (which I have
read) and three others which I have not read: Uncle Monday and Other
Florida Tales by Kristin G. Congdon

Three Little Words, in particular.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!
