Hi All,

I have a cataloging question about ISBNs in Follett Circulation Plus. Here
goes - hopefully this makes sense. This morning I was creating a marc record
from scratch. I entered in the 13 digit ISBN and when I saved it a message
popped up saying "invalid ISBN. Do you want to save anyway?" If I say yes,
the ISBN doesn't show up in the OPAC record but is saved in the MARC record.
If I say no, it saves the nine digit ISBN in the OPAC and MARC records. I
checked some records for books that came preprocessed and the 13 digit ISBN
is in the MARC record but not the OPAC. Is there a trick to get it
consistent? Does it really matter if it isn't?
