When I was posting my Hit yesterday, I accidentally left out two responses. Sorry! Here they are. Sara Robisch District Librarian Rib Lake School District srobisch@riblake.k12.wi.us I have the entire series in my Grade 7-8 school and the kids love it. I've read the whole series, and while it's obvious that Bella and Edward consummate their marriage, the Christian Conservatives in your community should be happy that they waited until they were married to do so! Seriously, I think every middle school should have the entire series. The kids love it, and with the movie coming out, the demand is only going to increase. I've had no problem with the books, but I'm in "liberal" New England. I am a middle school librarian and to solve the problem, I keep a shelf of YA books in my office that kids can check out if they have a permission slip signed saying they can read YA. I have "Breaking Dawn, "Forever in Blue", Patricia McCormick and several others that I would have allowed my kids to read in middle school but have parents in this community who might not. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
