Hello Friends, I am putting together a day long inservice for K-5 teachers who have a new mandatory research component in their curriculum. Of course, much of the day will be hands-on for them as they plan their projects, but I will be giving an opening "lecture"/presentation on both the value and necessity of student research as well as the nuts and bolts of process. Does anyone have any articles to recommend to me, any books I should read and quote, any quotes? And are there other children's books about the research project that I might reference besides my own R is for Research and Our Librarian Won't Tell Us ANYTHING? I'll gladly post a hit. Best wishes and happy Thanksgiving to you all!
