I just got a phone call from a "publisher" wanting to send me multiple examination copies of the two books listed here: http://budbooks.com I finally got to tell her that we don't do previews, but I'd gladly look at a printed advertisement. She didn't have any, but at least was able to give me the web site. She claimed that she sold these to the previous librarian, and actually had the correct name. Since I've been the librarian here since 1998, either she has a very good memory or is a good guesser. I didn't find the book on the LC catalog (but I didn't spend much time searching, either). Does anyone have either of these books already? I'm suspicious of the low price. I like bargains as well as anyone, but I've also learned that I usually get what I pay for. -- David Lininger, kb0zke MS/HS Librarian Skyline MS/HS Urbana, MO 65767 (417) 993-4226 t i g e r l i b r a r i a n at g m a i l dot c o m -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
