Hi everyone, Does anyone know for sure if a public library can deny a student a public library card simply because another student last year didn't return a book. The library seems to be associating the students with one another even though they all have their own personal cards. I should mention that we are a private boarding high school so the students live here on campus. My feeling is that the current student shouldn't be denied a card because of the actions of another student. Is there some kind of universal policy or law governing this? Thanks for your input!
