Hi everyone, I've been waiting to send out this HIT for a few days, convinced I would hear from more librarians who wanted to share their blogs. Are there really so few of us? You'll find some great reading in the list below, and if you are out there and have worked with students using blogs, or use a blog to update your library website - I'd love to hear about it! I'll share mine to: the blog I run for our state-wide book award: http://dcfbooks.edublogs.org/ my school's site which I run using Wordpress: http://marlboroschool.net/ our state library org.'s site which I also run using Wordpress: http://vsla.info/ my professional musings-type blog: http://lib.surruralist.net/ My original message: I'm preparing for a conference presentation on library blogs, and I'm on the lookout for some standouts to illustrate either using blogs in the classroom, as a PR tool for your library or using blog software to run your whole site. I know, I know, you've received this request before - but the lists I've seen in the archives are bringing me to many out of date or blogs that have recently disappeared. Here are the super blogs people have sent me so far: http://csslibraryblog.blogspot.com I also have a research blog where students post work. It's at: http://cssresearch.blogspot.com/ And the skills blog is used for lessons: http://csslibraryskills.blogspot.com/ http://lucyandethelinthelibrary.blogspot.com/ http://susangrigsby.wordpress.com http://southtexaslibrarian.blogspot.com http://bookladyspeaks.blogspot.com Thanks everyone! I'll be reading.
