I received an email this week from someone in a Tennessee school who is seeking an assessment tool to measure reading levels/progression. They would like to assess high school students twice a year to determine if the reading strategies being used are having positive results. They want the assessment to report reading levels in Lexile format. The only assessment tool they have found so far is the Scholastic Reading Inventory. This person has 2 questions: 1. Is there anyone using the Scholastic Reading Assessment who she could contact for further questions? 2. Are there any other such assessments being used by a school? Thank you!
