Every student and parent has our school email. It is rare, however, that I have
received any email from them. I do get a request now and then to print a student's
essay when the IT Center is closed.

Teachers do get emails from teachers about a meeting or questioning a grade.
Teachers seem to prefer this method of communication as we don't have much access
to telephones.

I also email overdue notices to students through this manner.

It is not a problem - and, in fact, is a requirement of the school. But then, we
have Infinite Campus which is available to every parent - and that lists our
emails, all assignments, attendance, grades, etc. Everything is live and updated
every block.

Subject: Re: [LM_NET] HS: Do you give out your email?

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering how many high school teacher/librarians give out their email
address to students so that they can email them questions? And if you do, how many
questions do you get? Is it very time consuming?

Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom!
