If there is anyone out there that uses Library Pro automation system and could help
me I would be eternally grateful.
My circulation module has gone wacko. When I try to check in a book it won't let
me. It tells me that it can't find the patron number. It displays the patron
numbers without the leading zeros. It won't let me check books out either unless I
put in the leading zeros ( I never had to before) The only way I can check a book
in is to bring up the patron record by typing in the patron number with the leading
zeros in the check out screen, double clicking on the red book that is out, and
then clicking on the check in button on the bottom of that screen.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It's driving me nuts! It just started doing this
yesterday. Today I have both 6th grade teams checking books in and out.
I tried re-indexing the patrons but, it didn't help. Any suggestions? Oh, and the
district no longer pays for tech support so I can't turn to them for
help.*************************** Juliann T. Moskowitz Teacher LibrarianSeymour
