Hello everyone,
I am turning to your vast knowledge for this problem - it has me
stumped. I have a teacher who runs a "knight club" where the kids adopt
the persona of a famous knight (such as Richard the Lionhearted) and
then study virtues such as honor, courage and loyalty - supposed to help
the kids who need a little more support in area of personal
responsibility and empathy toward others.
Anyway, whenever a new kid joins the club, the rest come to the library
and spend lots of time searching for a new knight personal on the
library computers. I have been searching for AGES for a book that would
simplify this process - I'm thinking of a biographical encyclopedia of
knights, or at least a source which includes the actual names and
attributes of many knights in a list, but I am coming up empty. I've
also queried several book jobbers who are equally stymied. Does anyone
out there know of a book that would fulfill this search for medieval
knights without the goose chase that happens when they use the internet?
