 Hello Colleagues:
I am in a middle school (6-8) and I am thinking of starting a reward system in the
library, where students collect "tickets" or points that they trade for prizes like
pencils, book marks, free passes to the library from study hall, etc.

I was thinking of giving tickets when I see a student doing something good. But I
also was thinking of giving two or three tickets a day, then if the students do
something they aren't supposed to, then a ticket is taken away. Once the students
collect so many tickets, they can trade the ticket in for their prize.

So, :
1) What do you do in regards to reward systems? Do you trade tickets for prizes?
2) If you do trade in tickets for prizes, how many tickets to students need to
collect in order to obtain prizes?
3) Which websites do you use to get your materials? Oriental Trading, for example?
Current Kids?
4) How do you do this activity without making it seem like you are bribing the
students?

Thanks for your help! Please send me anything personally..If there is a request, I
can post a hit.
