Thank you for the very prompt and helpful response:

Origin question ... needed
need to find average and media salary of attorneys in Iowa.
Schooling required and so forth; for career information.

Here is a compilation of the information ---
Angela Long's (from Homer Center, PA) gateway to career sites:
http://www.homercenter.org/hcelem/libcareer.htm

(NOTE: Angela's site is GREAT - most useful link on it turned out to
be http://www.online.onetcenter.org/ -- it provided great up-to-date
information about many careers including the attorney states)

Other suggested sites:
http://www.iowabar.org
(Iowa Bar Association)

http://www.careers.state.gov/officer/roles/index.html

http://www.careervoyages.gov/index.cfm

In searching through these sites we were eventually led to the "Law
School Admission Council" site at
http://www.lsac.org/AboutLawSchool/getting-started-qestions.asp

Through each of these sites we did manage to find everything needed
for the student to compile stats and information looking toward a
legal career.

My appreciation to each of you who replied and steered us in the
right direction. The student is very very appreciative. :>)
