[LM_NET] TARGET: Civil War novels for 8th grade

Hi everyone.

I have some 8th grade ELA teachers who are looking for suggestions for a novel 
dealing with the Civil War that they can use to tie in with what students will 
study in their social studies classes.  What are some Civil War novels that 
teachers in your schools use with 8th graders?

I will post a hit if anyone expresses interest.
