[LM_NET] Target: Why study Spanish (or any FL)?

One of our Middle School Spanish teachers is looking for a creative way
to address the question, "Why should I have to know Spanish?"

She would like to find or create something that is fun and dynamic while
still being pertinent and real for the students, something that
addresses the advantages of Spanish (or a FL) in our modern world.  A
multimedia presentation would be perfect.

 

I know we have some creative and well-connected media specialists out
there.

Is anyone aware of a similar presentation or video that she could use or
adapt?  Anyone have any creative ideas that would work for an assembly?
