HI, I am new to the elementary school level and will have a small number of the 5th graders in here each week for "enrichment". They will not be graded on their work, but it is not a study hall. I am looking for self-directed activities that are educational, such as read a magazine article and write a summary, practice keyboarding, do research on long-term projects. They can't do homework or play games. I want it to be fun to come to the LMC but not so much fun that the other kids think these kids have the period off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
