I have had a request for a book and I told my friend I knew who to ask. She is looking for a book she read in elementary school in the '70s. It is about a tree in a forest, during winter time, that children decorated with nuts and some type of food, then animals would come at night to the tree. She remembers detailed black and white illustrations. I appreciate your help!
