Hello all, I have a 1st grader who is "into" Mo Willems due to the expressions that he uses on his characters. Unfortunately, she doesn't want to go beyond his work. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to other authors who use expressions in their work like Mo does and still is fairly easy to read (she's a struggling reader as well)? We are trying to see if she gets into the Froggy series by Jonathon London. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please send them to my e-mail. I'd be happy to compile and share a list to everyone.
